Student Special: Long-distance Clear Aligners Treatment
Starting university or college or returning for another year AND starting or continuing your clear aligners treatment?
Antosz Vincelli Orthodontics in Calgary offers our university and college patients long-distance treatment through an innovative method.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1
At their appointment, we give our students all the needed supplies, including the cheek retractor and setting them up with the Dental Monitoring mobile application.
Step 2
The app sends students reminders to scan their smile. Using their mobile phones, the students take the required pictures (between 6-13 depending on the type of monitoring).
The Dental Monitoring phone app gives users all the information they need, including which pictures to take. There’s also a useful video to see how it’s done ‘live.’
Step 3
Antosz Vincelli Orthodontics gets a notification that the pictures are ready, and then our doctors review them.
Step 4
After the review, the student gets a notification email from the doctors with new directions.
Sounds simple, right? It is…and effective as well.
